Will I continue to use the same Identity Guard mobile app that I have always used?

No, once the upgrade is complete you should use the Aura app. It is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. You will be able to access your account using your Identity Guard login and password to sign into the Aura app or by visiting my.aura.com.

Will I need to re-enter any financial institution information that is currently being monitored?

No. All existing information is automatically moved over, without any interruption to financial monitoring.

Will I have access to previously sent alerts after my account is upgraded?

Yes, you will have access to previous alerts sent within the last 12 months.

Will I continue to have access to past credit reports after this change?

Yes, you will have access to past credit reports after this change.

What should I do if I currently use Device Secure as my VPN solution on IDG?

You will need to uninstall Device Secure and install Aura Desktop, our new and improved VPN solution. Instructions for uninstalling Device Secure and installing Aura Desktop can be found on our support page. If you have already uninstalled Device Secure, you can proceed with the installation of Aura Desktop by following the installation guide for your specific operating system. If you have any questions or need assistance, our support team is available to help you throughout the process.

Is my account still operated by the Identity Guard team?

Your account will now be managed by the Aura team, who specializes in working with Aura customers. They are U.S.-based and available 24/7.  

Why am I seeing a different company name on my credit card statement for the same product?

The company name change on your credit card statement is due to your recent upgrade from IdentityGuard to Aura. As part of this upgrade there was a change to the billing name that appears on your credit card bill. Rest assured that this name change does not affect your billing or the product you are using; it is solely a result of our rebranding efforts.

What should I do if I am unable to access my account?

During the upgrade, there is a small chance that you may experience difficulties accessing your account, including being locked out of your profile. If this happens, you will need to reset your password in order to regain access to your account.
